Eurowings Launches Two New Routes From Stockholm Arlanda

Ultra-low cost carrier Eurowings will bolster its operations at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with the introduction of two new direct routes ahead of the summer of 2024.

This expansion marks a further step forward for both Eurowings and the airport.  The new routes will serve Hannover (HAJ) and Naples (NAP) respectively, adding to the carrier’s network from Arlanda.

The addition of new routes to Hannover and Naples strengthens air connectivity between Sweden, Tialy and Germany.

Since they first established their Swedish base in the summer of 2022, Eurowings has added a variety of destinations to their offer making the total number thirteen.

Stockholm to Hannover and Naples

Route Details

The new routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Hannover (HAJ) and Naples (NAP) are poised to attract a diverse range of travellers. These include business professionals, tourists, and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) passengers.

Both Hannover and Naples are popular destinations known for their cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and economic significance.

Frequency and Schedule

Eurowings will operate the Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Hannover route twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting from the 1st of May.

Similarly, the Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Naples route will be serviced twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, commencing operations on the 14th of June.

Aircraft Fleet

Eurowings will deploy its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft to serve the new routes, ensuring a seamless and comfortable travel experience for passengers.

Known for their reliability, efficiency, and passenger comfort, the A320 aircraft are well-suited for short to medium-haul flights, making them an ideal choice for routes within Europe.

Eurowings is adding new routes to Hannover and Naples as part of its wider strategy. As well as broadening options, it caters to the general rising demand for flights within Sweden.
