Eurowings expands northern Europe offerings

Eurowings is progressively expanding its northern European connectivity, with the recent introduction of Tromsø and an upcoming addition of Rovaniemi in Finland on 13 January.

Tromsø: The Capital of the Arctic


The airline is now supporting non-stop flights twice a week to Tromsø, a captivating city nestled 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in northern Norway.

Tromsø, often referred to as “the capital of the Arctic,” boasts a unique location surrounded by stunning fjords and snow-capped peaks.

This picturesque city serves as the gateway to the Arctic Ocean, providing an ideal starting point for immersive Arctic adventures.

One of Tromsø’s most enchanting features is its prime position beyond the Arctic Circle, making it a hotspot for witnessing the mesmerizing Northern Lights.

Travelers can experience this natural phenomenon intensely and frequently, adding a magical touch to their winter escapade.

Eurowings Northern Europe Presence


Eurowings continues to strengthen its presence in Northern Europe and winter services at BER. Beyond Tromsø, the airline offers direct connections to other captivating destinations:

  • Copenhagen
  • Helsinki

Starting on 13 January 2024, Rovaniemi in Finland will be added to the list of Northern European destinations.
