Emirates shares an ‘eggstravaganza’ of Easter treats this April

Emirates has revealed its “eggstravaganza” program of new Easter treats to celebrate the festivities this month. The airline has said that a large array of Easter themed foods can be found both in the lounges and onboard flights.

Foods including traditional lamb dishes can be found in the lounges as well as baskets of hot cross buns and sweet surprises for kids will be available onboard.

Easter season flight services


Emirates advise that passengers flying on select routes in all classes to countries including Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Brazil, Philippines, South Africa, Mauritius and Ghana, can find these items between the 7th and 10th of April.

The UAE carrier has also said economy passengers will be offered a complimentary hot cross bun with their meals.

As for First, Business and Premium Economy, passengers can expect a chocolate cake garnished with a creamy ganache and redcurrants or a strawberry cheesecake dotted with an elegant mini Easter egg.

In addition, the A380 onboard lounge will also be offering a traditional Easter simnel fruitcake with marzipan.

Emirates is also taking care of those celebrating Othodox Easter from the 14th to the 17th of April.

During this time more Easter treats will be found including Kulich bread can be found on routes to Russia and Greece.

Furthermore, kids in all classes will receive a brightly coloured “Happy Easter” biscuit shaped like an Easter egg.

Emirates’ lounges see Easter themed dishes served


Passengers travelling in premium cabins aboard Emirates, who get access to the airlines global network of prestigious lounges can also expect plenty of Easter treats.

Dishes including lamb chops with roasted potatoes and carrots in orange jus can be found in the Dubai First lounge.

For those in a US lounge, roast leg of lamb with dates, green olives and pomegranate will be on the menu.

Alternatively if you are travelling through Singapore, pistachio crustedlLamb cutlets with red bell peppers, olive oil coulis and spring market vegetables will be available.

Lastly for travellers in the UK, a classic herb crusted lamb with chargrilled leeks, baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes and a tangy mint sauce will be on the menu.

Either way, Emirates travellers across the world will be able to look forward to a special Easter themed dish to enjoy prior to their flight.

A wide range of shows on ICE


As always, anyone travelling with Emirates will have access to the airline’s ICE entertainment system, which year round has thousands of entertainment for passengers to be kept interested during the flight.

Travellers can look forward to over 5,000 channels of on demand entertainment, over 1,900 movies, 1,500 hours of TV, music, podcasts and audiobooks. All of this will be available in 40 worldwide languages.

Emirates has also included a new wide range of shows for the month of April that families with kids will get to enjoy including:

  2. The Tiger Rising
  3. Lyle
  4. Crocodile
  5. Tad the Lost Explorer
  6. Emerald Tablet

Furthermore, Emirates has a dedicated “Wizarding World” folder that includes:

  1. 16 Harry Potter titles
  2. The Amazing World of Gumball
  3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  4. Lego Jurassic World: Legends of Isla Nublar
  5. Spongebob Squarepants
  6. Star Trek: Prodigy
  7. The Adventures of Puss in Boots

Overall Emirates has once again gone above and beyond to provide the best possible service for its passengers for the month of April and Easter, an almost role model-like move for the airline.
