Emirates launches regional charter service

UAE flag carrier Emirates has recently introduced an exclusive on-demand regional charter service that caters to customers seeking flexibility, convenience, privacy, and comfort for their short trips within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

This service operates from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and is operated by the airline’s light jet aircraft the Phenom 100

Convenience and reach


Emirates’ regional charter service is operated using state-of-the-art Embraer Phenom 100 twin-engine jet aircraft.

The airline offers a wide range of destinations within and outside of its network, ensuring quick turnarounds to major locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This extensive coverage allows travelers to reach their desired destinations swiftly and efficiently.

Luxurious amenities


The aircraft accommodates up to four passengers, ensuring an intimate and comfortable journey. Passengers traveling on these short flights are treated to a well-stocked hamper of delightful light bites and refreshments, enhancing their onboard experience.

In terms of baggage, each passenger is allowed to check in one medium-sized bag weighing up to 15 kilograms, in addition to a carry-on handbag.

Emirates’ on-demand charter service caters to discerning travelers with busy schedules who value privacy and flexibility. Passengers can enjoy a hassle-free ground experience, starting from their departure in Dubai.

Emirates Chauffeur Drive Services will transport them to DWC, ensuring a seamless journey. Upon arrival, a dedicated representative will be available to assist them throughout the airport journey, minimizing pre-flight wait times.

At the destination, passengers benefit from fast on-ground escorted arrival and VIP clearance at customs and immigration, facilitated by private terminal service partners.

Additionally, they will have access to the private terminal lounge upon arrival, allowing them to relax and unwind.

About the Phenom 100


The Embraer Phenom 100 is a light business jet designed and produced by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. It is a twin-engine aircraft with a maximum range of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 kilometers) and a maximum cruise speed of 450 knots (833 kilometers per hour).

First introduced in 2007, the light jet has been a popular choice for private and corporate operators. It is known for its spacious cabin, comfortable seating, and low operating costs.

The Phenom 100 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E turbofan engines. It has a certified maximum takeoff weight of 6,000 pounds (2,722 kilograms) and a maximum payload of 1,100 pounds (499 kilograms).

The cabin of the jet is 7.985 cubic meters (282 cubic feet) and can accommodate up to six passengers. The cabin is equipped with a refreshment center, a lavatory, and a baggage compartment.

The Phenom 100 is equipped with a Garmin G1000 avionics suite. The G1000 suite includes two 15.2-inch (38.1-cm) displays, a flight management system, and a weather radar.
