Earlier last week, easyJet inaugurated a new route from Munich Airport to Naples on a three times per week basis.

Services began on June 28, hoping that the German airport can connect passengers to the Amalfi Coast and the offshore islands of Capri & Ischia.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

The trio was joined by easyJet cabin crew members who were all set to operate the brand-new flight.

From the airport, easyJet already operated flights to the likes of London Gatwick, Edinburgh, and Manchester, highlighting the strong links the carrier is making from the German location.

Moving away from the Munich-Naples route, easyJet continues on its growth plan, with the latest announcement coming from Birmingham Airport in the United Kingdom.

Courtesy of the airport’s website, it is understood that the 15 new routes will be:

  • Barcelona
  • Tenerife
  • Antalya
  • Berlin
  • Jersey
  • Malaga
  • Sharm El Sheikh
  • Rhodes
  • Alicante
  • Dalaman
  • Corfu
  • Heraklion
  • Larnaca
  • Tunisia
  • Kos

With travel demand for the Summer of 2023 being very strong, this is forming a foundation for the current schedule as well as for next year too.

The Munich-Naples route will be a big indicator of that as well as the plethora of other routes that the European low-cost carrier will launch.

All eyes will be on them to see what comes next.
