This week, Delta Air Lines has made some significant changes to its Winter 2023 scheduling for some European destinations.

Delta: European Winter 2023 Changes
As per data from Aeroroutes.com, Delta Air Lines has made some significant changes to its European Winter 2023 schedule.
Some of the changes that the U.S. carrier has made involve service suspensions to some major European destinations, as well as aircraft changes to reduce unnecessary capacity.

The first lot of changes involve the suspension of Atlanta to Barcelona, and Madrid in Spain from January 8, 2024, to March 6, 2024. Outside of these dates, these routes will be operated on a five-weekly basis, alongside Dublin, Ireland.
Both Barcelona and Dublin will be operated by the carrier’s Airbus A330-300, and Madrid will be operated by their Boeing 767-300ERs.
As well as the above, Delta’s Atlanta to Milan Malpensa in Italy service will be suspended from January 7, 2024, until March 6, 2024, with the service outside these dates being reduced from daily to four-weekly, operated by the carriers Boeing 767-300ERs.
Not only this but Delta’s Boston to Lisbon in Portugal route will be suspended from January 7, 2024, until March 6, 2024, and their Boston to Rome Fiumicino route will also be suspended from January 8, 2024, until March 6, 2024.
On top of their Atlanta and Boston changes, Delta has also made some changes to its services out of both New York John F. Kennedy and Salt Lake City. In terms of their JFK changes, Delta will suspend their Edinburgh, Scotland route from January 8, 2024, until March 9, 2024.
Also from JFK, Delta will be increasing its capacity offering from seven to 12 weekly to Rome Fiumicino from March 7, 2024, until March 30, 2024.
In terms of its Salt Lake City changes, Delta’s London Heathrow, UK route will be reduced from daily to five-weekly with their Airbus A330-200 replacing their Airbus A330-900neo from October 28, 2023.
