Delta Air Lines has confirmed the resumption of flight services to Tel Aviv, effective from later this week.

From 7 June 2024, a daily nonstop service will be resumed between New York-JFK (John F. Kennedy International Airport) and Tel Aviv (TLV), operating through this summer.

Tel Aviv Flight Resumption

This news of Tel Aviv flight restorations comes after a temporary suspension in October 2023. Prioritizing passenger safety, Delta conducted a comprehensive security risk assessment before making the decision to relaunch the route.

The airline remains committed to close monitoring of the situation in Israel, working collaboratively with government and private-sector partners.

Passengers can expect a comfortable and modern travel experience aboard the Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, which will offer nearly 2,000 weekly seats from New York to Israel.

This increased capacity caters to the growing demand for travel between North America and the Middle East, providing greater flexibility and choice for business and leisure travelers alike.

Codeshare with EL AL Israel Airlines

Beyond the direct New York-JFK service, Delta has also been actively strengthening its presence in Israel. Notable is the move to establish a codeshare agreement with EL AL Israel Airlines.

This strategic partnership allows Delta customers to seamlessly connect to Tel Aviv from various major U.S. cities, including New York (both JFK and Newark), Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.

This expanded network provides travelers with a wider range of flight options and greater convenience when planning their trips to Israel.

The resumption of Delta’s service signifies a significant development in the ongoing efforts to strengthen travel connectivity between North America and Israel.
