Adding quite a substantial amount of growth out of Austin, Texas, Delta Air Lines will be operating 11 new peak-day services as well as new services to Midland-Odessa and McAllen, Texas.

The two new destinations will commence from April 22, 2024. Midland-Odessa (MAF) will have three-daily services, and so will McAllen (MFE).

For Nashville (BNA) services will increase to three-daily services, Cincinnati (CVG) will have an additional daily service, as well as Raleigh-Durham (RDU).

These extra services will result in a 20% increase in capacity for the American carrier out of Austin and all services will be operated by dual-class regional aircraft with First Class and Delta Comfort+ cabins.

Executive Comments

Commenting on their latest expansion out of Austin, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, Joe Esposito, says, “This expansion not only creates an access point to diverse opportunities for business, leisure, and cultural exploration spanning Texas and beyond but also solidifies Delta’s commitment to being a key player in Austin’s evolving landscape.”

“Austin is growing rapidly, and this 20% increase in capacity mirrors that growth as we look to provide our customers with unparalleled convenience in the region.”
