As summer approaches, travelers from Chile and Brazil will see the revival of direct flights between Santiago, Chile and Orlando, Florida, courtesy of Delta Air Lines and the LATAM group.

This seasonal route promises a convenient and direct option for those seeking to escape the Southern Hemisphere winter for the sunny attractions of Central Florida.

A Return to Santiago-Orlando

The reintroduction of this direct route signifies a further milestone in the collaborative partnership between the carriers Delta Air Lines and LATAM.

After a brief hiatus in 2018, the two aviation giants are once again joining forces to offer travelers the popular seasonal accessway between South America and the United States.

Launching June 16 and operating until Sep. 28, 2024, this seasonal route will have two weekly frequencies between the Chilean capital and one of Florida’s most popular, family-friendly destinations, recognized for its theme parks and tourist attractions.

Enhanced Connectivity

This route restoration is part of a broader effort by Delta Air Lines and LATAM to enhance connectivity and convenience for their passengers.

In addition to the Santiago-Orlando route, the Joint Venture has already introduced six new routes directly linking South America with various destinations across the United States.

Catering to Summer Travelers

With the revival of this route, Delta and LATAM aim to cater to approximately 12,800 customers during the summer season in the United States.

Beyond serving travelers from Chile, the direct flights will also facilitate easier access to Orlando for visitors from Brazil, particularly during the peak travel season.
