It has been revealed that Delta Air Lines will add services between Boston and Mexico City in the upcoming Winter 2023/24 season.

Courtesy of data provided by AeroRoutes.com, this service is scheduled to begin on December 21 this year, with the service still subject to government approval at this time.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

Starting on December 21, 2023, Delta Air Lines will provide daily service between Boston and Mexico City.

It is understood that the service will be operated by the carrier’s Boeing 757-200 aircraft, which will fill a gap that has existed since January 2019 when Aeromexico used to operate this route.

As for timings, the proposed scheduling is a 0750 local time departure from Boston, arriving in Mexico City at 1255 local time.

There will then be a short turn-around before departure at 1400 local time, arriving back into Boston at 1951 local time the same day.

Starting off with Strong Demand…

It remains clear that this route addition between Boston and Mexico City will have substantial demand already if daily flights are provided.

Especially during the Winter, when American travelers want to head for warmer climates, this will, of course, work well in Delta Air Lines’ favor.

Looking ahead, it is going to be interesting to see how the route will perform over the Winter season and whether there could be the potential to expand it to year-round.
