Delta Air Lines has extended the cancellation of flights between New York JFK and Tel Aviv until the end of April due to continued tensions in the region.

The airline suspended services to the Israeli airport from Atlanta and Boston back in October.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

It is understood that flights between New York JFK and Tel Aviv with Delta Air Lines are suspended until April 30, 2024 at the earliest.

In a statement, the airline said the following on this:

“As cancellations are processed, customers will receive notifications via the Fly Delta app and contact information listed in their reservation.”

“Seats on Delta partner airlines remain bookable on delta.com and through Delta Reservations when available.”

“Delta is continuously monitoring the rapidly evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports, including the most recent U.S. State Department travel advisory.”

The airline also had a travel waiver for those travelling between New York JFK and Tel Aviv.

“A travel waiver was previously issued for all customers who booked travel to/from TLV before Oct. 11, 2023. Note: Dec. 31, 2023, was the cut-off date for customers to make changes to their reservation including rebooking, canceling or processing a refund.”

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how much longer these services between New York and Tel Aviv will be cancelled for with Delta Air Lines.

All eyes will be on when we get closer to the end of April, to see whether this gets extended further in due course.
