IndiGo has this week began services to Jaisalmer from its base in Delhi, with plans to extend this out to Mumbai, Jaipur & Ahmedabad by month-end.

This plan is being hailed by locals in the area as the regional connectivity will be enhanced, but it is also expected to foster a lot of economic growth.
