AirFi, a provider of in-flight entertainment, has this week announced that Cyprus Airways will install it’s systems on it’s Airbus aircraft.
The in-flight entertainment will be installed on the carrier’s Airbus A320 and A220 aircraft to provide wireless streaming to it’s customers.
Without further ado, let’s get into it…
Cyprus Airways To Install AirFi IFE on It’s Airbus Aircraft…
Each aircraft will be equipped with two AirFi boxes, which will enable passengers to stream context from their personal electronic devices.
After this, in-seat ordering will be enabled on the Cyprus Airways in-flight entertainment offering, which will position the airline to a more premium perspective.
Commenting on this deal was Job Heimerikx, AirFi‘s CEO:
“We’re honoured that the flag carrier of Cyprus has selected AirFi as a cornerstone in its plans to level-up the onboard experience.”
“And personally, I’m delighted to be working with Cyprus Airways’ CEO, Paul Sies, whose achievements I very much admire.”
“With the addition of the A220, our products have now been deployed across every aircraft in the Airbus family.”
“This proves that our offering is truly versatile, and the benefits that come with it are indiscriminate of the type of airline using them”.
Adding to this was Paul Sies, the CEO of Cyprus Airways:
“We are highly impressed by the range of functionality offered by AirFi’s intuitive wireless in-flight entertainment and in-seat ordering solutions.”
“We needed something scalable to suit our ambitious growth plans and provide a hassle-free travel experience that serves all our guests needs.”
“We’re looking forward to having AirFi along the flight to the success of Cyprus Airways.”
All eyes will be on how this relationship will develop, as well as what the feedback from customers will be like when these products are installed.
