Copa Airlines adds Raleigh-Durham as 16th US destination

Latin American carrier Copa Airlines has unveiled its newest route to the region of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

Starting June 21, the new service between Panama City, Panama, and the Raleigh-Durham region, known as the “Research Triangle” of North Carolina, increases the airline’s network to 85 destinations in 32 countries in North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean.

Launch of 16th US Destination

The launch of a new service from its Hub of the Americas® in Panama City, Panama, to the vibrant Raleigh-Durham region of North Carolina is set to take place on June 21, 2024.

With four weekly flights seamlessly connecting through the Hub of the Americas® in Panama, this marks Copa Airlines’ 16th U.S. destination.

Dennis Cary, Senior Vice President, and Chief Commercial Officer at Copa Airlines, expressed the airline’s commitment to bridging gaps and fostering connections across the Americas.

He emphasized how the introduction of the Raleigh-Durham route will not only promote cultural exchanges but also deepen tourism and business ties between Latin America and the Research Triangle area.

Gateway to Innovation and Culture

These additions to Copa’s network further solidify its position as a leading airline connecting the Americas.
