German leisure carrier Condor is placing more focus on Mallorca for Summer 2024 by adding more flights from new locations.

The airline has identified this particular market as one with much higher demand, so will be pushing out extra flights to cater to this.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

Condor has stated which airports will have additional flights to Mallorca on for the Summer 2024, with this being as follows:

  • Basel: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Dortmund: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden: Tuesday, Sunday
  • Cologne: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
  • Münster/Osnabrück: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Rostock: Monday, Friday

This is in addition to the flights already offered to the Spanish destination from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Zurich.

In a statement, Condor said the following on the expansion of flights into Mallorca:

“Initial booking figures for summer 2024 point to Mallorca as the largest growth market in German tourism. Condor is responding to these developments by significantly expanding its services to Mallorca.”

The additional flights will be operated by the carrier’s Airbus A320 Family aircraft, and like in this Summer season just gone, could facilitate a need for additional aircraft on wet lease.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how these additional flights will perform, as well as whether there will be a need to expand this further before the busy Summer 2024 period begins.

But for now, let’s wait and see what happens.
