Set to commence in November 2024, leisure carrier Condor will deploy its A330neo aircraft on a new long-haul route from Frankfurt directly to Los Cabos (SJD) on the southern tip of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.

Direct Flights to Los Cabos

The announcement of direct flights from Frankfurt to Los Cabos marks another milestone for the leisure airline Condor.

This new route not only opens up opportunities for seamless travel but also caters to the increasing demand for direct connections to popular vacation destinations.

For German travelers, Los Cabos holds a special allure, known for its pristine beaches, vibrant culture, and diverse attractions.

“Los Cabos is at the top of the bucket list for many Germans and has been on Condor’s list for some time,” said Jens Boyd, Commercial Director at Condor.

“The flights to the attractive Pacific coast are made possible by the arrival of our new A330neo, in which our guests can look forward to maximum travel comfort, the latest technologies, low kerosene consumption and a quiet flight.”

“Whether in the new Economy cabin with ergonomic seats, a better sense of space and the latest generation of in-flight entertainment or in our unique Prime Seats in the front row of Business Class, where you feel like you’re in your own suite.”

Features of the A330neo

The introduction of the A330neo ramps things up a notch, prioritizing passenger comfort and environmental sustainability.

Travelers can expect an array of features designed to enhance their journey, including ergonomic seats, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment, and spacious cabins.

Moreover, the A330neo boasts low fuel consumption and reduced noise levels, ensuring a quiet and eco-friendly flight experience.

Collaborative Efforts for Connectivity

The realization of this new route is the culmination of collaborative efforts between Condor Airlines, local authorities, and airport management.

Rodrigo Esponda, Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board, commented that efforts to reach this milestone in the region began in 2019. “Since then, we have coordinated logistical and strategic details.”

“Although the Covid-19 pandemic paused the efforts, they were successfully resumed, and today we announce this historic flight not just for Los Cabos but for the entire state as it will promote more tourist arrivals to Baja California Sur,” he emphasized.

This initiative not only strengthens connectivity between Germany and Mexico but also promotes tourism and economic growth in Baja California Sur.

Attractions of Los Cabos

Situated at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, Los Cabos offers a breathtaking fusion of desert landscapes, azure waters, and vibrant culture.

Travelers can immerse themselves in a myriad of activities, from whale watching and diving excursions to exploring quaint towns and indulging in world-class cuisine.

With its diverse attractions and natural beauty, Los Cabos promises an unforgettable holiday experience for visitors of all ages.
