Strengthening ties and boosting tourism, China Eastern Airlines is proud to announce the launch of new direct flights between Shanghai and Marseille, France.
Starting July 2nd, 2024, travelers can enjoy a convenient connection operated by Shanghai Airlines, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines.
Flights will run three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with flight numbers FM871 departing Shanghai and FM872 returning from Marseille.
The estimated flight time is approximately 12 hours, offering a quicker and more comfortable journey between these vibrant cities.
Passengers can also stay connected throughout their flight with gate-to-gate internet service.

Meanwhile, Marseille will be in the spotlight later this summer, hosting the sailing competitions for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
