The 2023 North Bund International Aviation Forum was held this week in Shanghai on 22 September. Themed “New Landscape, New Prosperity,” the forum was co-hosted by China Eastern Air Holding Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Airport Authority.

Pioneering “Super Carrier” Innovations

As the largest home base airline company in Shanghai, China Eastern Airlines used this platform to unveil its latest achievements, particularly in the realm of “Super Carrier” innovations.

Among the highlights were the “Construction of Air-Overland-Integrated Transport Network in CEA-Based Yangtze River Delta” and the groundbreaking “Aviation Health Travel Guide.”

Building the Air-Overland-Integrated Transport Network

China Eastern Airlines has taken a giant leap forward by spearheading the development of an integrated transport network within the CEA-based Yangtze River Delta.

This ambitious project not only enhances connectivity but also underscores the airline’s commitment to regional development.

Aviation Health Travel Guide

One of the standout achievements of China Eastern Airlines is the “Aviation Health Travel Guide.” This comprehensive guide, developed in collaboration with Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, draws from the airline’s extensive case studies and the latest medical research in international civil aviation.

Its primary purpose is to offer invaluable health advice to passengers, thereby reducing the likelihood of in-flight medical emergencies.

In his address, he reaffirmed China Eastern Airlines’ readiness to collaborate with global stakeholders in various aspects, including bilateral air rights expansion, smart aviation construction, and green and low-carbon development.
