Cebu Pacific enters engine maintenance contract with Lufthansa Technik

Cebu Pacific, one of the prominent low-cost carriers in the Asia-Pacific region, has firmed a new engine agreement with Lufthansa Technik AG.

Under the new contract, Lufthansa Technik will provide Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services for three of Cebu Pacific CFM56-5B engines which includes Cyclean® Engine wash and Aircraft Transition Services (ATS) for two A320ceo.

Setting the Stage


The partnership revolves around Lufthansa Technik’s commitment to providing top-tier Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Services for three of Cebu Pacific’s CFM56-5B engines.

Additionally, the contract includes the innovative Cyclean® Engine wash and Aircraft Transition Services (ATS) for two A320ceo aircraft in Cebu Pacific’s fleet.

Shevantha Weerasekera, the Vice President of Engineering & Fleet Management at Cebu Pacific, expressed his confidence in this partnership with the major maintenance provider.

He stated, “Lufthansa Technik has given us the confidence that our aircraft will be well taken care of by the world’s best engine repair service provider.”
