This news from Cathay Pacific for an additional flight to Manchester from Hong Kong is good news for the airport.

It also continues on the current strengths that they are having at the moment with Asian traffic.

For example, it was revealed recently that Juneyao Air would be operating flights to the UK airport.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the performance for the Sunday service to see whether it is popular.

If it is, then this could provide scope for the airline to bolster services once again.

But for now, let’s wait and see what happens in September.
