As per data from Planespotters.net, British Airways has 12 Airbus A380 aircraft, with the registrations being as follows:

  • G-XLEA
  • G-XLEB
  • G-XLEC
  • G-XLED
  • G-XLEE
  • G-XLEF
  • G-XLEG
  • G-XLEH
  • G-XLEI
  • G-XLEJ
  • G-XLEK
  • G-XLEL

Each unit sits 14 passengers in First Class, 97 in Business, 55 in Premium Economy, and 303 in Economy, respectively.

The reason why we may see preliminary changes is because of the fact the airline has 12 A380s, which could mean more destinations added or frequency boosts moving forward.

British Airways brought their A380s back into commercial service towards the end of 2021 following storage in Chateauroux, Teruel, and Madrid during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With demand for air travel bouncing back very strongly, it comes as no surprise that these aircraft are being utilized by the airline once again.
