Australia’s newest low-cost carrier, Bonza, will turn up the heat with an offer of thousands of low-cost flights over the upcoming summer season.

Bonza is upbeat about its planned offerings, and it’s a little hard not to catch that infectious vibe, reading through its recent statement.

Summer Offerings

Summer flights on offer range from just $49 to $89 per person one way, and can be accessed and booked through the airline’s app or a travel agent.

Bonza’s app has officially become the ultimate travel companion, and the exclusive place to book these direct flights. There are a range of routes to choose from, including services for the airline’s newest base at the Gold Coast Airport.

With around 1.25 million Aussies already having downloaded the Fly Bonza app and nearly 400,000 passengers choosing to book with Bonza, the new start-up airline seems to have captured the attention of the travel-savvy populace.

Australia is a rocky continent, which is historically littered with the carcasses of new start-up airlines. Perhaps Bonza’s quietly growing success story is a testament to the demand for affordable travel options that don’t compromise on quality or experiences.

Perhaps this is a legacy of the years of lockdowns and travel restrictions – I guess only time will tell.

Bonza CCO Comments

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the airline’s decision to make the Gold Coast its third base, joining the ranks of its Sunshine Coast Airport and Melbourne Tullamarine bases.

Carly Povey, Chief Commercial Officer at Bonza, shares in the excitement: “We know travelers have been eagerly waiting for these flights to go on sale and I’m delighted to share that all 33 routes to 17 destinations are now on sale via the Fly Bonza app or your local travel agent.”

Povey’s enthusiasm is palpable, as she highlights the incredible opportunity for Australians to explore more destinations without breaking the bank.

Summer Escapes Redefined

The allure of the coming Aussie summer is already irresistible, but Bonza is taking it up a notch. From attending the Australian Open in Melbourne to savoring the finest Mooloolaba prawns on the Sunshine Coast, Fly Bonza is making those summer daydreams come true.

Wether you plan to sail the turquoise waters of the Whitsundays or embrace the tranquility of the Murray River in Mildura and Albury – there is a neat and cheap flight service available.

The flights currently on sale reflect a recent strategic update to Bonza’s schedule from its Sunshine Coast and Melbourne bases.

By allocating a dedicated spare aircraft, the airline is prioritizing reliability and customer satisfaction. Having experienced a post-pandemic era of flight disruptions and cancellations, this proactive approach ensures that travelers can confidently plan and embark on their journeys.

It all seems pretty fair dinkum to me.
