Etihad Airways has announced it will start flying its flagship Airbus A380 double-decker aircraft to New York JFK from 22 April, 2024.

In its latest announcement, Etihad Airways has revealed its plans to introduce the Airbus A380 double-decker aircraft on its New York JFK route starting April 22, 2024.

Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer, was upbeat about the move, emphasizing the exceptional onboard experience awaiting passengers across all classes.

Whether flying Economy, Business, First, or indulging in the opulence of The Residence, Etihad assures an unparalleled level of service.

Neves highlighted the significance for corporate travelers, noting that the A380’s timing and comfort will ensure passengers arrive in the city that never sleeps refreshed and ready for business engagements.

The decision to deploy the Etihad A380 on the popular New York route aligns with Etihad’s strategy to meet rising customer demand for increased capacity.

For those in Economy, the A380 offers a dedicated welcome area and 68 extra-legroom seats, providing an additional 4 inches of space.

Business Studios

The upper deck houses Business Studios, offering an exclusive haven with 70 private spaces. The highlight is The Lobby, a serviced lounge and bar area between the First and Business cabins.

Collaborating with Armani/Casa, Etihad elevates the Business experience with premium ceramics, glassware, cutlery, and fabrics.

First Apartments

First Apartments take luxury to new heights with nine private spaces, each equipped with designer tableware, a spacious leather lounge chair, and a separate ottoman transforming into an 80″ lie-flat bed.
