Avelo Airlines has exciting news for football fans in the Bay Area! In preparation for Super Bowl LVIII, the airline will lay on special nonstop roundtrip flights between the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) and Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
This roundtrip initiative aims to facilitate easy travel for 49ers fans eager to witness the game hosted in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 11.
Additional Flights for Super Bowl Weekend
To accommodate the surge in travel demand for the Super Bowl weekend, Avelo Airlines is introducing two additional roundtrip flights not previously included in its schedule.
On Friday, February 9, Avelo Flight 202 will depart from STS at 4:35 p.m., reaching LAS at 6:10 p.m. Similarly, on Monday, February 12, Avelo Flight 201 will depart LAS at 2:00 p.m., arriving at STS at 3:55 p.m.

Chairman and CEO of Avelo Airlines, Andrew Levy, expressed his enthusiasm on behalf of the airline about theadded flights.
Levy stated, “These additional flights will make it even easier and more convenient for SF 49ers fans to watch the game or simply enjoy all the festivities Vegas has instore for Super Bowl weekend. We look forward to joining our fellow Bay Area fans in cheering on the Niners in Super Bowl LVIII.”

Avelo’s Nonstop Destinations from STS
Avelo Airlines currently serves four nonstop destinations from STS, offering a diverse range of travel options for passengers:
- Bend / Redmond, OR (RDM): Flights available twice weekly (Mondays and Fridays).
- Las Vegas, NV (LAS): Up to four days per week (Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
- Los Angeles / Burbank, CA (BUR): Service available every day except Wednesdays.
- Palm Springs, CA (PSP): Flights offered up to four days per week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays).
