Avelo Airlines joins Hollywood Burbank Airport for new terminal groundbreaking

Avelo Airlines has teamed up with Los Angeles’ Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) for the groundbreaking of the airport’s new terminal.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in enhancing travel experiences for passengers utilizing this bustling airport.

New Hollywood Burbank (BUR) Terminal

The forthcoming 355,000 square-foot terminal is set to revolutionize the travel experience at BUR. Replacing the current 94-year-old terminal, the new facility will boast 14 gates, providing ample space for passenger boarding and disembarking processes.

Passengers can look forward to a range of amenities, including diverse dining options and shopping outlets, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable wait between flights.

Additionally, the upgraded TSA checkpoint promises to streamline security procedures, minimizing wait times and enhancing overall efficiency.

Attendance at Groundbreaking Ceremony

Dignitaries and officials graced the groundbreaking ceremony to mark the occasion.

Among the notable speakers were BUR Executive Director Frank Miller, President of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Felicia Williams, and Rep. Tony Cardenas, representing California’s 29th congressional district.

Avelo Airlines was represented by its Director of Airport Relations, Somer Shindler, supporting the airline’s commitment to this partnership.
