Avelo Airlines Announces New Los Angeles-Las Vegas Flights

Avelo Airlines has this week announced new flights between Los Angeles and Las Vegas starting next month.

Vegas will be the 14th destination from Burbank, Los Angeles, as the airline aims to capitalise market share.

The New Los Angeles-Las Vegas Flights…

It is understood that Avelo Airlines will begin flights between Los Angeles (Burbank) & Las Vegas on May 3.

Flights will operate initially on a twice-weekly basis, operating on Fridays and Sundays.

Commenting on the new route was CEO and Chairman of the airline, Andrew Levy:

“As Avelo approaches the third anniversary of our first flight from BUR, we’re excited to make Vegas our 14th popular destination from L.A.’s most popular airport.”

“We were very encouraged by the strong Customer response we received when we offered special flights between BUR and LAS for football’s big game in February.”

“We look forward to offering travelers Avelo’s everyday affordability, convenience, and reliability between these two vibrant cities.”

Adding to this was Frank Miller, the Executive Director of Hollywood Burbank Airport in Los Angeles:

“Our passengers know how easy it is to fly from Hollywood Burbank Airport to Las Vegas. We are pleased that Avelo Airlines is making it even more convenient for travelers to do so.”

The Burbank operation for Avelo Airlines is growing strong.

Destinations from the Los Angeles-based airport is as follows:

  • Bay Area / Sonoma (STS)
  • Eureka/ Arcata (ACV)
  • Redding (RDD)
  • Colorado Springs (COS)
  • Boise (BOI)
  • Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Bend / Redmond (RDM)
  • Eugene (EUG)
  • Medford / Rogue Valley (MFR)
  • Portland / Salem (SLE)
  • Bozeman / Yellowstone (BZN)
  • Kalispell (FCA)
  • Brownsville / South Padre Island (BRO)
  • Pasco / Tri-Cities (PSC)

That is quite an extensive list already, with all eyes on what else will be added on top of the Las Vegas flights from the Los Angeles-based airport.
