Commenting on the delivery of the fourth Airbus A320neo was Austrian Airlines CEO Annette Mann:

“We are happy about the arrival of our newest fleet member just in time for the beginning of the holidays. Austrian is starting the summer well booked, and our aircraft are full.”

“With the A320neo, we have brought one of the most innovative and efficient aircraft types on the market to Austrian Airlines, and I am delighted that we will soon be growing in our long-haul fleet as well.”

From 2024, ten Boeing 787-9s will gradually modernize the entire Austrian long-haul fleet, an increase from nine to ten aircraft.

The Airbus A320neo has already been operating busy routes within the Austrian portfolio, such as Amsterdam, Amman, Berlin, Frankfurt, Heraklion, Cairo, and London, amongst others.

With the carrier receiving 10 new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners starting next year, it remains clear that modernization is in full effect and will enable further streamlining in terms of revenue to profit capture and much more.
