Austrian Airlines is ramping up service between Bangkok and Vienna to meet surging travel demand during the upcoming winter season.

Weekly frequencies will increase by 86%, going from 7 to 13 flights, marking the airline’s largest capacity increase for Winter 2024.

As Austria’s national carrier, Austrian Airlines is renowned for its exceptional service and hospitality.

Passengers can expect a safe and comfortable journey aboard their modern fleet, which includes Airbus A320 family aircraft, Boeing 767s, and Boeing 777s.

They are also known for their delicious onboard meals, featuring both Austrian specialties and international flavors.

Complimentary meals and beverages, including Austrian wines and beers, are a further perk for travelers.

Stronger Commitment to the Thai Market

This significant boost in Bangkok-Vienna service reflects Austrian Airlines’ dedication to the Southeast Asian market.

“We’ve been connecting Vienna and Bangkok since 1988,” shared Brendan Shashoua, Lufthansa Group Senior Director Sales – Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

“Thailand remains a highly sought-after destination for Europeans. By increasing frequencies from Vienna to 13 flights per week, we’re addressing this strong demand.”

Shashoua continued, “The introduction of the A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, on flights from Bangkok to Munich last year exemplifies our commitment.”

“This latest development offers Thai travelers even greater choice and flexibility when flying to Europe with Lufthansa Group.”
