All Nippon Airways (ANA) has this week unveiled the flight schedule for its “Pikachu Jet NH” special livery, which begins in June 2023.
It is understood that the aircraft will initially serve the Tokyo Haneda-Bangkok route from June 4, 2023. Below is the schedule:
The inaugural flight will feature limited edition designs on the cabin attendants’ aprons, as well as on paper cups, napkins, headrest covers, and commemorative gifts for passengers.

Commenting on this new livery and route announcement was Junko Yazawa, the Executive VP of Customer Experience Management at ANA:
“As part of uniting the world in wonder, ANA is committed to creating unique and memorable experiences for our passengers, and the inaugural Pikachu Jet NH flight is a testament to that commitment to exploring endless possibilities”.
“We are excited about the first flight and look forward to welcoming passengers with limited edition designs that will make the first flight on this specially painted aircraft a one-of-a-kind journey that brings the world of Pokémon to life.”
The “Pikachu Jet NH” aircraft features a livery designed for ANA, in which the Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza is depicted across the entire fuselage to create a vivid effect.
Charizard, Latias, Latios, Vivillon, and other flying Pokémon from all over the Pokémon world move together with Pikachu toward the shining rays of hope and endless possibilities of an interconnected world.
Pokémon are also hidden on the aircraft-facing side of the engines.

It remains clear that this special livery will be one that will be looked out for by enthusiasts and passengers like at ANA.
The airline is well known for applying special liveries onto its aircraft, with some of the more notable ones being the Star Wars Livery, as well as the liveries on its Airbus A380 aircraft.
Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see what other routes this aircraft will serve, and how much further afield this particular aircraft could end up for the planespotting community to take pictures of!
