Within this major update, the ANA Group provided some other additional highlights regarding its operations from Tokyo.

From October 20, the carrier will begin operations of its third Airbus A380 aircraft that had previously been in storage.

This jet will continue to operate services to Honolulu from Narita.

As we know already, AirJapan will begin commercial services from February 9, 2024, with Peach increasing services considerably, highlighting the strong demand within the Asian market.

All 11 of ANA Group’s freighters will be in full operation, but belly space for cargo on passenger jets will also be heavily utilized too.

Furthermore, on the mainline ANA side, the Boeing 787-10 will be introduced for the first time on domestic routes, offering 429 seats in a two-class setup (28 in Premium Class and 401 in Economy).

What remains clear is that this is a major shake-up from the Tokyo-based group, and all eyes will be on them to see how the upcoming Winter 2023/24 season performs for them.
