On March 28, 2023, Aircraft Leasing & Management (ALM), delivered their first Airbus A320neo to Peach Aviation, registered as JA210P.

At present, JA210P is still sitting in Airbus’ factory in Hamburg, Germany where it will be awaiting its delivery flight across to Japan, before entering commercial service with Peach Aviation.

JA210P is powered by two CFM LEAP engines, in-line with the rest of Peach’s Airbus NEO fleet.

This particular aircraft is Peach Aviation’s 10th Airbus A320neo out of a total of 33 that they currently have on order. The carrier also currently has two Airbus A321LRs (Long Range), alongside its existing fleet of 27 older Airbus A320ceos.

This delivery is a significant milestone for ALM as it is the first Airbus A320neo that they have added to their ever-growing portfolio. They already have an expansive portfolio of Airbus A320ceos and Boeing 737s.

As part of this particular agreement, the aircraft is on a sale and leaseback transaction and forms part of the agreement that ALM have with Peach for the sale and leaseback of three Airbus A320neos, with the remaining two being due to be delivered later this year to the Japanese carrier.

However, it is worth noting that Peach Aviation is not a new customer for ALM, as ALM already handles a handful of Peach’s existing Airbus A320ceos on long-term lease agreements.
