The Islands of The Bahamas and Alaska Airlines have partnered to inaugurate nonstop routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

The new services operate to Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau, the thriving capital of the Caribbean destination.

New Bahamas Gateway

Launched on December 14 and 15 respectively, these new routes represent a significant leap for West Coast travelers, offering convenient access to the Bahamas’ pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant culture.

“The Bahamas is committed to establishing new partnerships, such as these exciting new routes with Alaska Airlines,” expressed The Honourable I. Chester Cooper, Bahamas Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation.

“They will enhance accessibility to our beautiful shores for all to experience the warm hospitality and rich heritage that awaits,” he stated.

Surpassing record-breaking tourism arrivals in 2023, exceeding 8 million visitors, the Bahamas anticipates this momentum to continue with the added convenience of these new services.
