Alaska Airlines Commences Operations at SFO Harvey Milk T1

Alaska Airlines has commenced operations in a brand new, state-of-the-art space at San Francisco International Airport’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1.

This exciting move follows a two-year relocation project from the airport’s Terminal 2 facility.

This multimillion-dollar investment makes Alaska Airlines thelargest carrier at SFO Harvey Milk Terminal 1.

The new location signifies a significant investment in Alaska Airlines’ San Francisco hub, the largest in California.

Guests can now experience a bright and airy lobby with ample seating featuring built-in power outlets for convenient device charging.

Additionally, Alaska Airlines has secured access to more gates, allowing them to offer more flights to favorite destinations. This is accompanied by shorter taxi times and faster runway access for a smoother and more efficient travel experience.

The centerpiece of this transformation is Alaska Airlines’ brand-new lounge, slated to open in July. This expansive 11,000-square-foot haven is nearly twice the size of a basketball court!

It boasts 55% more seating, including signature Loungers for ultimate relaxation. Guests can savor delicious treats crafted with fresh, local ingredients.

Enjoy a barista-made coffee, or indulge in complimentary West Coast wines, spirits, and craft beers. The lounge is set off by a modern ambiance infused with San Francisco flair.

Check-In Innovation

As a pioneer in guest experience, Alaska Airlines is proud to be the first airline at SFO to introduce automated bag drops.

This innovative technology streamlines the check-in process, allowing guests to effortlessly print bag tags, scan boarding passes, and deposit checked luggage at designated stations.

Of course, Alaska Airlines’ dedicated customer service team remains readily available to assist those who require additional support.

The new location at Harvey Milk Terminal 1 positions Alaska Airlines closer to fellow oneworld Alliance members and other global partners.

This strategic move allows for seamless connections to domestic and international destinations, with over 130 weekly flights to 18 international points offered by Alaska Airlines and their partners.

Planning an international adventure is a breeze – 24 partner airlines are accessible for direct booking, and guests can conveniently redeem Mileage Plan miles directly on the Alaska Airlines website.

California Dreaming, Alaska Style

This summer, Alaska Airlines takes flight as the airline with the most service from San Francisco to major West Coast destinations.

They offer up to eleven daily flights to Seattle, six daily flights to Portland, and as many as seven flights to San Diego.

Craving some sunshine? The carrier has recently launched new nonstop service to Burbank, providing travelers with three convenient daily options.

This $30 million relocation project is part of a larger $3 billion investment. This will see infrastructure upgrades across Alaska Airlines’ major West Coast hubs.

Passengers at Portland International Airport can expect a brand-new, state-of-the-art lobby opening in August.
