Alaska Airlines is soaring to new heights in Southern California. The airline is expanding service at its major hubs in Los Angeles (LAX) and San Diego (SAN).

The expansion will see new routes and more flights to popular West Coast destinations. This move reflects Alaska’s ongoing commitment to growth in the Golden State.

Californian Connections

New Nonstop Routes and More to San Diego

Starting this fall, San Diego travelers will enjoy a new nonstop connection to the dazzling lights of Las Vegas. This addition brings Alaska Airlines’ total number of nonstop destinations from SAN to 39.

Los Angeles Gets More West Coast Connections

LAX passengers can look forward to a wider selection of West Coast destinations with our new service between Los Angeles and Pasco, Washington (PSC). It will also see the highly anticipated return of the popular Los Angeles to Reno, Nevada (RENO) route.

These new routes, along with increased service to existing destinations, will solidify Alaska Airlines’ position as the carrier offering the most daily flights to West Coast destinations from LAX.

The airline will also introduce increased capacity on flights from LAX to some favorite West Coast destinations.

These will include Boise, Medford, Portland, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Seattle. This expansion represents a 25% growth in service from LAX.
