airBaltic takes delivery of 46th Airbus A220-300

As of December 21, 2023, the Latvian national airline airBaltic has officially added its 46th Airbus A220-300 jet, bearing the registration YL-ABT, to its impressive fleet in Riga.

This becomes the seventh delivery of the Airbus A220-300 for airBaltic in 2023.

Growth Trajectory: 50 A220-300s


With a clear vision for the future, airBaltic has placed a firm order for a total of 50 Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Additionally, the airline has solidified its expansion plans by entering into a purchase agreement for an extra 30 Airbus A220-300s, with the option to acquire 20 more of the same type in the future.

airBaltic’s modern Airbus A220-300s have really been ambassadors of innovation, having now ferried over 13,441,000 passengers.

These remarkable planes have logged over 150,000 flights, accumulating an impressive 328,000 block hours.
