airBaltic, the flag carrier of Latvia, has announced a new codeshare partnership with SWISS International Air Lines (SWISS) effective from 31 January 2024.

This collaboration aims to enhance traveler convenience and flexibility when journeying between Switzerland and Latvia.

SWISS Code Zurich-Riga

SWISS will place its code on airBaltic-operated flights between Zurich and Riga, allowing its passengers seamless connections to airBaltic’s extensive network of over 100 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.

Conversely, airBaltic customers gain access to SWISS’s global network, including destinations in North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

The partnership operates beyond the direct Zurich-Riga route, extending to connecting flights before or after. This opens up a wider range of travel options and schedules for both airlines’ passengers.

“We are thrilled to partner with SWISS, a renowned premium airline,” said Martin Gauss. “This agreement strengthens our commitment to providing convenient and efficient air travel between Switzerland and Latvia, our home base.”
