Air Mauritius plans to operate this service using it’s Airbus A330 aircraft, although didn’t specify whether this would be with it’s older -200 variant or with the -900neo.

These services will commence from April 12, 2024.

On top of this, the airline also announced that it would be upgrading the frequencies on its services to Delhi.

From November 20, the carrier will be adding a third weekly service to Delhi, which means it will complement the services with Mumbai & Chennai well.

It also means that Air Mauritius will provide seven weekly services into India by April 2024, which represents a strong investment into the region.

All eyes will be on the carrier to see how the new service to Chennai performs, as well as how widely received the upgraded frequencies into Delhi will go.
