Last week, Air Lease Corporation announced the delivery of the first Airbus A321neo to Transavia, part of the Air France-KLM Group.

This article will cover the details surrounding the delivery of Transavia’s first Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Air Lease Corporation – Transavia’s First A321neo

Marking a major milestone for the Air France-KLM Group, Air Lease Corporation (ALC) last week had delivered the first of seven Airbus A321neo aircraft to Dutch operator, Transavia.

The aircraft in question, registered as PH-YHZ. At the time of writing this article, the aircraft has only been handed over to Transavia and has not yet carried out its delivery flight from Germany to the Netherlands.

PH-YHZ becomes the first Airbus to join the Transavia fleet and the first Airbus NEO family aircraft in the Air France-KLM Group, and looking around social media, Transavia has an Airbus A320neo that should shortly be due to join their Transavia France division.

The aircraft is the first of an order for up to a total of 160 Airbus NEO family aircraft to join the Air France-KLM Group fleet, with 100 of those orders being firm plus 60 options.

Executive Comments

Commenting on their latest milestone with long-standing customer, Transavia, Air Lease Corporation’s Executive Vice President, Grant Levy, says, “ALC is pleased to announce the first of seven A321-200neo aircraft delivered today to our longtime customer, Transavia.”

“With these new ALC A321neos, Transavia will continue to excel by offering excellent and efficient service at affordable fares to its customers. We are honored to introduce the A321-200neo to Transavia and look forward to continuing to assist the airline with its single-aisle fleet development for years to come.”
