It has been revealed that Air Europa has canceled its plans to operate a fourth weekly flight to Caracas from Madrid.

Based on data from AeroRoutes.com, the carrier had initially planned for the fourth weekly flight to take place in June 2023, but the decision has been reversed as a result of that.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

According to the airline schedule website, this cancellation has been in effect since March 2023 but has only been brought into the limelight now.

Because of this, effective from July 1, Air Europa will operate the Madrid-Caracas route on a thrice-weekly basis offering slight variations in flight time, which you can see below:

UX072 CCS2145 – 1225+1MAD 788

As you can see from this, the carrier will be utilizing a range of its Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners on these service rotations.

At this time, it’s unclear whether Air Europa will add a fourth flight, as well as what the reasoning behind this was.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see where the carrier will place the additional weekly flight on its route network instead of on the Madrid-Caracas route.

For now, all eyes are on the carrier to see how the rest of the Summer 2023 season will go for them, especially through the acquired aircraft on lease from Norse Atlantic Airways in the meantime.
