Air Dolomiti To Launch Temporary Frankfurt-London City Route

Air Dolomiti has announced plans to launch a temporary service between Frankfurt and London City in early 2024.

The carrier will be providing this service on a six days per week basis during the Winter 2024 season.

Courtesy of their website, Air Dolomiti will be utilising the following timetable for their new services between Frankfurt and London City, which will operate between February 11 to March 30 next year:

Monday through Friday :

• EN8770 Frankfurt 07:10 – LCY 07:35
• EN8771 London City 08:10 – FRA 10:35
• EN8776 Frankfurt 16:15 – LCY 16:40
• EN8777 London City 17:15 – FRA 19:40

Sunday:

• EN8776 Frankfurt 16:15 – London City 16:40
• EN8777 London City 17:15 – Frankfurt 19:40

Commenting on this new route launch was Steffen Harbarth, the CEO of Air Dolomiti, who said the following on this:

“I am pleased with the new connection that allows us to reach this important British metropolis by operating on a strategic airport, used especially by business travelers to London.”

“This new route confirms the Group’s trust in Air Dolomiti giving continuity to the development on European routes and further enhancing the process of complete harmonization of the parent company’s operations”.

The Embraer E190 will be utilised for this route, which can seat 108 passengers per flight, amounting to around 1,296 seats per week.

All eyes will be on how well this route performs moving forward, as well as whether there is scope to expand this going into the future.
