In a bid to provide a broader range of flight options, Aeromexico is set to make a significant expansion in its European operations for the year 2024.

This expansion plan includes the addition of six weekly frequencies to Madrid and an additional three to Paris from its hub in Mexico City.

Not only does this strategic move aim to meet the increased demand for the peak summer season, but it also aligns with the need for enhanced connectivity during the highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Record-Breaking Growth

This seasonal adjustment represents a remarkable 18% increase in connectivity between Mexico and Europe, effectively surpassing the record set by the airline during the summer of 2023.

With these enhancements, Aeromexico will facilitate the highest level of connectivity ever seen between Mexico and Europe in the history of Mexico’s aviation industry.

Additionally, travelers from Guadalajara and Monterrey will also enjoy increased connectivity to the Spanish capital, with seven weekly frequencies from each city.

As a result, there will be a total of 34 weekly flights to Madrid, representing an impressive 22% increase compared to the summer of 2023.

Paris

For travelers between Mexico City and Paris, this expansion translates to a remarkable 34% growth, with a total of 10 weekly operations.

This significant increase in the number of flights to Paris will undoubtedly offer passengers greater flexibility in planning their journeys and exploring the City of Lights.

A Word from Giancarlo Mulinelli

Giancarlo Mulinelli, the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Aeromexico, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion plans:

“Last summer, we broke the record for connectivity between Mexico and Europe, and we are committed to doing it again next summer, coinciding with the celebration of the Olympic Games.”

“Our Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, known for being the most modern, efficient, and comfortable in the industry, coupled with the exceptional talent of our team, continues to elevate the journey to an extraordinary experience.”

Aeromexico Past Legacy

Aeromexico’s legacy in connecting Mexico and Europe stretches back six decades, when the airline embarked on its first flight to Europe, landing in Madrid with a Douglas DC-8 aircraft.

Spain has since served as the gateway to the Old Continent for the airline, which now offers direct flights to five iconic European destinations.

Additionally, passengers can access numerous other European cities through Aeromexico’s strategic agreements with partner airlines.

Looking to the future, Aeromexico’s expansion plans promise to make European travel more accessible and convenient for travelers, while maintaining the airline’s strong standard of exceptional service.
