2024 SunExpress Antalya Flights: Boost for Newcastle Airport

Newcastle Airport has announced a boost to its Summer 2024 operations through the continuation of Antalya flights with SunExpress.

The airport announced that the Turkish carrier will offer five weekly flights from the North East airport to the popular holiday destination, which is up from the currently three on offer.

Commenting on the additional Antalya flights from SunExpress was Newcastle Airport’s Director of Aviation Development, Leon McQuaid:

“Turkey continues to be one of our most popular destinations and has seen a sharp rise in demand thanks to its warm climate, spectacular beaches and hotels, and excellent hospitality.

“We are delighted to hear that SunExpress has been well received by the region and is in such high demand that they have chosen to expand their schedule at Newcastle International Airport.”

“Their investment not only extends the season to cover most of 2024 but provides passengers with even more choice when looking for package holidays or flight-only deals.”

Adding to this was Peter Glade, the Commercial Director of SunExpress:
