EK15 is being operated by A6-EOZ, one of the airline’s Airbus A380s, which has turned around over the Munich area.

UPDATE #1 @ 1132 UK time – EK15 is descending through FL200 and is currently holding over the Munich area.
UPDATE #2 @ 1134 UK time – At this time, it is unclear what the cause of the emergency on this routine Emirates A380 flight between Dubai and London Gatwick.
UPDATE #3 @ 1135 UK time – EK15 is being operated by A6-EOZ, one of the airline’s Airbus A380s. As per Planespotters, the aircraft is 7.7 years old at the time of writing.
UPDATE #4 @ 1136 UK time – EK15, between Dubai and London Gatwick, is diverting to Munich Airport. Descending through 9,000 feet and is setting itself up for the approach.
UPDATE #5 @ 1139 UK time – EK15 is on the long-extended finals into Munich Airport, passing through 7,000 feet currently.
UPDATE #6 @ 1147 UK time – TOUCHDOWN! Emirates flight EK15, originally bound for London Gatwick from Dubai has appeared to have landed safely into Munich following its emergency squawk broadcast a few minutes ago.
UPDATE #7 @ 1148 UK time – EK15 has vacated the runway at Munich, and looks to be heading to a stand. Still awaiting reason for emergency.
UPDATE #8 @ 1212 UK time – The emergency seems to be medical-related, as the aircraft is scheduled to continue on to London Gatwick in the next hour.
