Passenger numbers for SAUDIA will no doubt rise year-after-year, due to the major investment being placed by the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced impressive growth in flights, passenger numbers, and global connections in 2023.

The Saudi skies saw a record-breaking year, with a record 112 million passengers and 815,000 flights recorded.

This surge is a direct result of the ongoing Saudi Aviation Strategy, which is transforming the Kingdom’s aviation sector.

The 2023 result – a 26% increase on 2022 and 8% above 2019 levels – shows the Strategy to be a success so far.

In conclusion, SAUDIA is in a very strong position at present.

As the Kingdom continues to develop it’s tourism strategy, this will mean more passengers and more revenue.

Furthermore, annual passenger traffic in the Kingdom is expected to reach 330m passengers by 2030.

And with that, the airline will stand to benefit from this.
