Bookings to popular North Asian destinations are exceeding 90% occupancy, with some South Korean routes surpassing an impressive 95% mark.
“With the Golden Week on the horizon, we’ve witnessed a significant surge in travel demand, particularly from Mainland China to Hong Kong,” explains HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao.
“We’re also seeing a rise in transit connections through Hong Kong to other Asian cities. To cater to the growing needs of the Greater Bay Area, HK Express is strategically increasing flight frequencies on popular Southeast Asian routes.”
This strategic expansion includes the recently launched Don Mueang service. It sees a significant uptick in weekly flights between Hong Kong and Danang, Vietnam (from 10 to 14, starting April 28th, 2024).
