During the subsequent climb after departure, flight crew reported a hydraulic failure. The decision was then made to conduct a precautionary return to the origin airport. The aircraft landed without further incident on runway 34R Denver International Airport just over 30 minutes from its initial departure.
According to the online source Aviation Herald, a passenger reported an announcement from the flight deck confirming the hydraulic failure. The announcement also noted a number of other failures including an autopilot issue.
