The United Airlines Boeing 737-900 operating a service to Seattle, WA lost a nose gear tire during its departure from Denver, CO on 24 August 2024.
United Airlines flight UA759, a Boeing 737-900, was making a departure from RWY25 Denver International Airport (DEN). At some point during the takeoff or early departure phase, the aircraft reportedly lost the nose gear tire.

The flight continued normally before landing without incident at the destination Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The full extent of the tire separation is not fully known. The subsequent FAA report stated that the aircraft had lost the front tire on takeoff.

Flight data shows that United flight UA759 made an on-time departure out of Denver International Airport at 1538 local time on 24 August. The flight then conducted a normal departure, setting course and climbing to flight level FL300 (30,000 feet) for the north-westerly service to Seattle.
Descent and approach procedures to Seattle Tacoma International Airport was similarly conducted normally. The flight reportedly landed uneventfully at the destination airport.
The aircraft conducting the UA759 service from Denver was a Boeing 737-900ER, registered N37427. This is a 16 year old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the carrier United Airlines.
It has been operational service with the airline since October 2010. This date marked the merger between Continental Airlines and United Airlines. Prior to its current service with United, it was operated by Continental Airlines from its initial delivery in August 2008.
