Tunisia’s leading private airline, Nouvelair, has taken a significant step towards modernizing its fleet. The latest venture sees the addition of two new narrowbody Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The aircraft, powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, were leased from BOC Aviation. Nouvelair becomes a new customer for the global aircraft lessor.
This lease arrangement marks a strategic move for Nouvelair as it aims to meet the increasing demands of its passengers. The addition also serves to strengthen its position in the North African aviation market.
The A320neo aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions, align perfectly with Nouvelair’s drive to environmental sustainability.
Paul Kent, Chief Commercial Officer at BOC Aviation welcomed aboard the new customer. “We are thrilled to welcome Nouvelair as a valued customer and support their growth in the region,” he said.
“These advanced aircraft will not only enhance Nouvelair’s operating efficiency. They will also provide a more comfortable and sustainable travel experience for their passengers.”
