An easyJet flight from Innsbruck to London Gatwick had a brief in-flight emergency whilst enroute earlier today.
Information has been released pertinent to the incident at hand, which we will get into in this article.

easyJet Flight U28696 – Innsbruck to London…
easyJet flight U28696, which suffered the brief emergency in-flight, is a routine scheduled flight between Innsbruck & London Gatwick.
Furthermore, the aircraft involved in the incident was understood to be G-UZHW.
As per data from Planespotters.net, G-UZHW is a 5.8 year old Airbus A320neo that was delivered to the UK subsidiary of the airline back in February 2019.
Of the A320neo variant, easyJet UK has 45 of them in their fleet.
Moreover, of that 45, all but one are in active service, with an average fleet age of 4.6 years.
easyJet flight U28696, which declared the emergency, departed Innsbruck at 1622 local time earlier today bound for London.
It is understood that the emergency was declared near the commune of Xertigny in France.
From there, the aircraft initially descended to a lower altitude.
Following the fix being made to the aircraft by crew, the aircraft continued on to London Gatwick as planned.
The aircraft landed there at 1706 local time tonight.
What Was The Cause of the Emergency?
As per @FlightEmergency on X, it is understood the cause of the brief emergency onboard easyJet flight U28696 between Innsbruck and London Gatwick was due to a brief pressurisation fault.
It is understood that the crew quickly reset the systems, and then started working again.
From there, the crew were able to declare operations normal and continued.
At this stage, it is unclear what has caused the fault exactly on those systems.
