Textron Rolls Out 400th Cessna Citation Longitude Jet

Textron has marked a production milestone with the rollout of its 400th Cessna Citation Longitude business jet from the Wichita facility.

This aircraft is slated for delivery later in the year. Employees at the company’s headquarters in Wichita marked the occasion with a special celebration.

A Leader in Midsize Business Jets

Designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), the Cessna Citation Latitude has become a dominant force in the midsize business jet market.

“The Citation Latitude has revolutionized performance, efficiency, and cabin experience for business jets,” declared Todd McKee, Senior Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain.

“The unwavering dedication and expertise of our team fuel continuous innovation and improvement in the design and manufacturing of Citation jets.”

“This translates to exceptional performance, productivity, and profitability for our customers. With a firm focus on the future, we remain committed to ongoing investment in research and development, keeping us at the forefront of inspiring flight.”

Citation Latitude Success Since 2015

Since its certification in 2015, the Citation Latitude has consistently ranked as the world’s most-delivered midsize business jet for eight consecutive years.

This success hinges on its reliability, versatility, and impressive range of 2,700 nautical miles. The assembly process incorporates advanced technologies like automated robotics, monolithic machined structures, and ergonomically designed tooling stations.

This focus on precision translates into the highest quality for customers, along with extended maintenance intervals and minimal downtime.
